ملخص البحث    The main research aimed at identifying the effectiveness of using Brain-Based Learning Theory in modifying the alternative representations of the scientific theories and developing lab safety skills of prep stage pupils. To achieve this, the researcher prepared a checklist to identify the alternative representations and lab safety scale. A unit was redesigned using Brain-Based Learning Theory. Materials of research were applied on a sample of (76) pupils at the second year prep stage. They were divided into two groups, a control group (38) and an experimental group (38) pupil. The following results were obtained after the port-testing: - There are significant mean differences at the level of (0.01) between the mean scores of the experimental and control groups on the alternative representations test favoring the experimental group and also a big size effect and high obtaining percent and this assures the effectiveness of Brain-Based Learning Theory in modifying the alternative representations. - There are significant mean differences at the level of (0.01) between the mean scores of the experimental and control groups on the lab-safety scale favoring the experimental group and also a big size effect and high obtaining percent and this assures the effectiveness of Brain-Based Learning Theory in developing lab-safety skills.
