ملخص البحث    The research Aims to Identify the Relations between the Strategies of Imploying soft and Harsh Power Sources of Departments in Faculties of South Valley University with Levels and Methods of Organizational Conflict Management . the research sample Consists of 83 faculty members with some sections of the university colleges . The research concluded that : (1) the Possession of the Heads of Departments to the Total Sources of soft & Harsh Power Was in A medium Degree, and the highest Power was Personal Reward in Average Weighted 4.527 and The Lowest Power was Impersonal coercion in A low degree 3.277 (2) The total Strategies of Imploying Heds of Departments heads to Their sources of Soft and Harsh Power came in Medium Degree , and the highest Strategies was Impersonal Reward (4.217) and the Lowest was impersonal coercion (3.155) (3) There was A Correlation Function between the sources of Power and Its strategies employed at A level of 0.01 (4) The was A medium level of organizational conflict of these department , the Above was Organizational Conflicts between superiors and subordinates (4.070) and the below was the Personal Conflicts with a low degree (2.964) (5) Most Methods of Conflict Management was Integration with A medium Degree (4.101) and The lowest Method was Avoidance in Average Weighted 3.670 (5) There was Statistically Significant differences between The heads of departments with Low strategies of Employing Soft Power Sources and The highest of them in the levels of Organizational Conflict in favor of the Heads with low Soft Power (6) There was Statistically Significant differences between The heads of Departments with Low Strategies of Employing Harsh Power Sources and The highest of them in the levels of Conflict within the Group, and Conflicts between Superiors and Subordinates in favor of the Heads with High Harsh Power , Where as there were No Statistically Significant differences between them in The in the Field of Personal Conflicts and Conflicts between Groups (7) There was Statistically Significant differences between The heads of Departments with Low strategies of Employing Soft Power Sources and The highest of them in the the Use of Intergraton , Accomodative and Compromise Methods in favor of the Heads with High Soft Power , While For the Low-Soft Power in the Use of Force & Avodation Method (8) There was Statistically Significant differences between The heads of Departments with Low strategies of Employing Harsh Power Sources and The highest of them in the the Use of Intergraton and Compromise Methods in favor of the Heads with High Harsh Power , While For the Low-Harsh Power in the Use of Force Method . Where Where as there were No Statistically Significant differences between them in The use of Avodation & Accomodative Methods .
